HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
The cost of a standard 45 minutes consultation is $300 via Video Conference under a Mental Health Care Plan, with a rebate from Medicare ($151.20). You will need to have a Mental Health Plan performed by your usual GP to access this Medicare rebate. There is a limit of 10 sessions of counselling treatments in a calendar year under the plan. There are no rebates from Private Health Funds. No bulk-billing is available for this service. For more information please see:

WHAT DOES A GP BRING TO COUNSELLING?
As a GP with 20 years of experience, working with thousands of people across different backgrounds, I compassionately support clients in many extreme and challenging life and health circumstances.
In my counselling sessions, my focus is to provide a safe environment for my clients to connect with their inner world and develop their wellbeing.
Instead of specialising and just focussing on one area of health only (e.g. mental health), I am able to see the whole picture of my client's well-being and integrate care in a way that is unique to a GP's perspective.
As a medical doctor, I also manage medications, including prescribing and weaning or de-prescribing antidepressant and other medications.
HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?
When you make an enquiry using the contact form, I will reply you by email to arrange a time for a consultation with you. Once we agree on a time I will send you a link to a booking form where you can book in your appointment. Please kindly fill in your credit card information confidentially as prompted so that we can process you payment on the day of the appointment and process medicare rebates to the bank account of your choice. You will be given the link to the Video Conference via SMS at the time of the appointment.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
If you are unable to attend your appointment, please make sure you cancel or reschedule your appointment 24 hours before your original appointment time using the Halaxy booking site. Otherwise you will be charged a cancellation fee of $50 via the credit card details you gave at the time of booking.
If you wish to make changes to your appointment please click on the Appointment Link on your confirmation email. There is no additional cost if you change or cancel your appointment more than 24 hours before your booking.
